Linking to a post in a closed Thread

    There's probably an easy solution i've overlooked.. so figured i'd just ask...

    When i want to link to a post in an Open Thread, i just click Quote to get the post # so i can use the post # within BB code tags [post=[I]nnnn[/I]] [/post]

    But how do i determine what to use (either within url or post tags) when the post I want to link to occurs within a thread which is closed?

    Thanks for any help / suggestions :)

    :) You're right, there is an easier way. Assuming I understand you right, you can use the link I've circled in the screenshot below:

    In fact, that even makes it simpler then how i currently link to a post in an open thread! Thanks :)
