Linksys Cisco Wireless USB connectivity issues

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but I need some help with my wireless USB adapter. I have used this adapter on two separate computers (including this one) under the same router and it's worked fine but I just bought my friends old computer off him and I can't get it to connect. I have the software and it installs everything just fine, it sees the connection, has near full signal but when I go to connect, it just won't... Or rather, it says it's connected but with no internet access. When I click troubleshoot it says it can't find any issues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Forgot to mention, it's a linksys Cisco USB adapter.
