Recently i have been having problems loading images in firefox. On a site like break.com, timekiller etc where there are many jpgs on one page, it will load some of them but then just become idle and not load anymore.

I have recently been playing with bandwidth settings for utorrent but this is happening when utorrent is closed so am unsure if that has anything to do with it.

Internet explorer works fine too, this only happens in Firefox. I have reinstalled but its still doing it.

Any ideas please?

Try starting Firefox in "Firefox safe mode" - Start/Programs/Firefox (safe mode)

That will set everything to default and disable extensions.

You can then figure out which element is causing the problem.

It does sound like something is leeching bandwidth.

It could be an extension. I wen to break.com and the entire page loaded in 2.7 seconds and 3.57 seconds. . Firefox v2.0.0.8

On timekiller.com, it took 7.953 seconds once and 4.6 seconds second time.

Each of the sites left it's own Cookies plus both site left many trash Cookies.
