Looking for a new soundcard

Hi, I'm in the market for a new 5.1 Surround card but I'm not really sure in what to buy since there are so many to pick from, I have on board surround sound at the moment that is Realtek HD audio which I'm running in 2 channel because of the problem I was getting having vocals coming out of the sub woofer, a friend of mine said that I should buy a creative card but after what I read about them I'm not so sure.

If you need any other info regarding my system please let me know.

Try a Creative Audigy SE... Not expensive, but it has good sound

Thank you for your reply Tmagic650, I'll go and check out this Audio card that you mentioned but I would like to ask if it's true what a lot of people are saying here about the crackle and pop sounds that you get from Creative sound cards, I can't really afford to buy a new sound card if that's what will happen once I've brought it. This would of never of happened if Realtek got there act together and done something about there sound Drivers.
