Misinformation is a tool.

Isn't this the second time that they thought they caught one of their guys? Face it gov, they're smarter than you.

The internet will only change. They are loopholes and ways through or around anything and people will still freely express themselves on the internet. Whether or not you know how to access what you want, that's where you will suffer... for your own ignorance.

Easy ZeroCool, I was referring more to increased costs not my ability to post on /b/. If the USG mandates any sort of security protocols, the costs will be passed on to us.

Physical vandalism may be a bit too far. Maybe even juvenile. And the government can't remove free internet without messing with free press (that being the most popularly quoted right we have) among others. The government is here to serve america. America does not serve the government. And America does not want this. And so it will not happen. If it does it will be like when they banned alcohol haha.

As for the public display of data. I can see it as a need to be done kinda thing. They could just say they have it but posting it proves it. And their attacks won't go on forever. Just until people beef up their security and quit being lazy about it. As to all users, Stay vigilant, and be careful on the internet just like you should always have been in the past.

People view the internet as unsafe. Well the internet is merely a virtual world. Just like the world we live in is unsafe. You can try to control it, but it just is. So don't go to extremes trying to control it. It will ultimately end in people needing to be watchful themselves.
