Madden NFL 2003 won't start

    Hi I can't get Madden NFL 2003 to start

    I have
    Processor: Pentium III 500Hz, 256Mb
    OS: Windows XP professional
    Video card: Ati Rage Mobility-M1 AGP2X, 8Mb
    DirectX 8.1

    When I start Madden 2003 the computer seems to hang, but in 10-15 minutes time i get the following error message.
    "Could not reset the Direct3D device".

    I've checked dxdiag.exe and all video tests are ok.

    When I use the EA System Information tool it says that my CPU speed is anything between 18-50Hz :confused:


    What can I do?
