  1. Hi, I've been getting major FPS drops in games as soon as there's one or more enemies that are trying to attack me. My specks are

    CPU : AMD FX4170 4.2GHz
    GPU : AMD HD7850 2GB
    RAM : 8GB
    SSD : 128 Samsung 840 series
    HDD : 2TB
    OP : Windows 7 64bit

The weird part is that all games are runing just fine til then 40-60 frames easy but after that it dropes as low as 10frames.
Now am upgrading my PC soon any way but would like to find out if its something I can fix or its just how much I can get from games these days with this hardware
P.S its usually runing on High settings

    Try this:
    1) Uninstall the current GPU drivers with this tool: http://goo.gl/VvtH3.
    2) Restart your PC.
    3) Download and install the latest 13.4 driver from here: http://goo.gl/Ed8t.

If that doesnt work, just respond and I will tell you some other possible solutions.

Why wouldn't he jump on and grab the 13.8 beta? That's the most up to date one.

But yeah what JC713 said is the right way, sometimes drivers get messed up, at least this way you will rule that out.

People are having issues with the 13.8 beta driver. I do not recommend beta drivers. You need stable drivers for these types of issues.

Yeah had problems with the beta ones before so decided to never get them again. And it dosnt seem to have helped. Dint play too long but did see frame drops as usual.

Go to your power options and set the profile to "High Performance".
