Measuring Frames Per Second in Game: How?

  1. I installed the Diamond Edition of NWN1 on my system. I have tried the OC and got about a third of the way in Chapter 1 when I was suddenly getting jerking/stuttering problems in my gameplay. I tried starting from an earlier save but nothing worked. I chocked it up to a Community Hak that I installed and decided to move on to the first expansion Shawdows of Undrentide.

I started with a fresh install with no Hak Pak. The play was smooth for a couple of days. I come back tonight and start the game but the problem of jerking/stuttering returned.

How does one find out the frame rate while in game? And if you have any suggestions on what you think may be going with the stuttering in this game I'd appreciate it.

FRAPS is a free program you can download to check in-game FPS count. As for your other problem, you've tried installing the updates for your video drivers?
