Due to a broken USB chip in my MD41300 laptop none of the USB ports is working anymore. This includes the proprietary format built-in connector that is used for the AverTV Tuner that was delivered with the laptop. I know it actually is a USB tuner, also proven by the fact that it stopped working when the USB chip died.
My question is if someone can explain how the special 10-pin connector maps onto the USB port. I would like to use this TV tuner outside the laptop by connecting it to a normal USB port. Any help you guys can give me is greatly appreciated!
