Memory doesn't run in dual channel mode

hi,

i have an asus M2N-MX SE Plus motherboard...it has only two DIMM slots and under specs it says that the motherboard supports dual channel memory...i got myself two 1gb transcend 800MHz rams..my problem is that when i check (using cpu-z) if my memory is working on dual channel it shows as single channel only..please help..

The only Transcend (by Micron) that passed Asus testing was the 512 st 533 Mhz.

They list other brand 1Gb sticks but NOT Transcend at 800 Mhz.

Therein may lie your problem.
