Anyone know what kind of ram would be best suited for this board? I'm talking brand names here, I already know it will work with ddr 400/333/266 un-buffered non-EEC as Abit's web site says... but does anyone own the board? What are you using in it, and any problems? Not that I own a AV8, but I'm thinking about...

Corsair (which I use and prefer) gives you a lifetime warranty. www.corsairmemory.com
Crucial is very good too. Informative website. Enter your mobo-type and off you go.

Do not opt for any (even from brand-names) so-called "Value" memory.

Have you checked Abit's site or the processor manufacturer's site to see if they have recommended manufacturer/model's?

And in slight deference to real's post, I believe the value ram (from name brands such as Kingston) will still work well if you're not planning on overclocking. I use it in my 64-bit system and it's rock-solid.

Well, I would be over clocking. But now I think I'm gonna wait for a mobo with pci express. I dont know, I can make up my mind, and its not like I'm made of money either. All I want is is the fastest computer known to man, is that too much to ask?
