Memory problems in vista

    hello,
    im running vista home premium 32-bit on an advent 7208, and decided that i needed to double my memory to 2gb. unfortunately, vista and the bios are both not recognising the new ram chip, but a program that im using called cpuz does.
    does anyone know how to make vista see the memory??
