  1. Hi, can anyone please tell me if this is right.

my task manager shows Iexplorer is using 94,340 k of memory. is this normal ?

System details: P4, XP professional, connected to Windows NT server.
    Ram 768K, HD 40GB.

Also I have a google search bar on my IE.

    thanks,
    kivi26.

iexplore[r]? IE's process is called iexplore.exe, anything else is malware.

IE's memory usage depends on how many tabs you have open and what exact pages are being displayed. On my computer, IE with a single blank tab open consumes some 16MB or RAM. A simple page would increase this by some 2MB, a more complex one would readily add 20MB to that.

    Iexplore

No tabs involved on my IE, I am still using V6.2.

I went to www.yahoo.com and the process iexplore is taking up 132mb
    [132,472k].
