    on a motherboard the supports different speeds of DDR can you mix the speeds as in a stick of 3200 and a stick of 2700? or wont that run.

    yes you can mix the speed but you are limited by the slowest stick as to performance.

    It works in most scenarios, but there is much higher chance of compatibility beween memory of the same speed. Memory is very finicky already, so there's no reason to make it worse. ;)

    your better off with one memory at the fastest speed.
    2-2-2-6 fast and stable Bios setting.
