Menu tweak for Vista?

  1. On my old XP system I had a tweak (registry edit, I believe) which kept menus/submenus open until an item was selected, even if you moved the cursor away from the menu, or until you clicked anywhere on the screen.

I've searched for such a tweak for Vista, to no avail. Is there one?

Interesting. Thanks. But not what I'm seeking.

The XP tweak I used worked on items in the menu bar as well as the start menu.

(I'll not give Micro$oft a penny for W7, in my opinion they owe me a copy for sticking me with Vista; the latter not being an OS but a POS.)

Yes, Vista is to Windows 7 as Windows Me was to XP...
