Mercury PI945GCM supported graphic cards

Hi All,

My PC configuration as below. Please suggest cheap & best supported graphic card for this PC config. I am not able to play 1080P videos and crackling sounds are coming if I play any 720p videos......not for gaming purpose. some times suddenly computer hangs in the middle and responds 2mins later, especially in Windows8 OS. in windows experience performance graph.....the least rated I.e. 2.0 for desktop graphic performance only....remaining things are rated very good.

Any cheap low-end PCI-E card should do the trick. Post some up (around $50 max) and we'll confirm if it's OK.

AMD HD 5450, for example. This will give you 1080p decoding at a low price.

I have the same motherboard with intel core 2 duo 2.9ghz processor and 4 gb ram, is there anyway I can play latest games on this pc ?

Pardon my ignorance, but will the ATI mobility Radeon X1400 be compatible with this board? If yes, will it affect the board ?
