Microsoft fails to meet injunction deadline, Office pulled from the company's store

  1. Last month's unsuccessful appeal forced Microsoft to remove infringing XML technology from Word 2007, and the company said it would offer modified versions of Office 2007 software by January 11 -- yesterday.

    You know when MS with their endless wealth and a collection of attorney's that could populate a small country, pull a product off the shelf - especially something like MS Word - they (or someone) has really, really blown it. ;)

    Do not worry. They only took it off their online store, it will still be available until Office 2010 comes out. The courts can not do anything about it.
