Microsoft launches Office Web Apps tech preview

    Microsoft has kicked off an invite-only "technical preview" of Office Web Apps, the browser-based version of its office productivity suite. Since yesterday a limited number of users have had access to the free online editions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, on any device capable of running Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.

    Microsoft trying to catch up to the webOS game.
    What about hyperoffice it`s been around for about 10 years.
    Maybe the people at Apple don`t want Hyperoffice as an app on the Iphone,
    Better luck on the Palm Pre or Blackberry.
    Could this be just an addition to Hyperoffice for Microsoft, time will tell
