  4. Great, we've now all got the red light to find another Skype equivalent! At least it's been confirmed and we can start to test other products. So to all those programmers out there looking for a sure-fire way to a fat profit, get working because there will be an exodus of Skypers wanting to move, but as yet nowhere decent to go!! If there is a place to go, we're off!
No doubt Microsoft will do what it does best to any product it gets hold of - fill it with bugs and force users into incessant updates/upgrades.

We manage several hundred users, and during the last six months Skype has certainly gone downhill in respects to reliability, performance and quality of service. Billing department is still good, though!

I think Microsoft should stick at what it does best - build in obsolescence, create as many bugs as possible and fleece its users.

Really, what is the point in having laws that seem to prevent unfair competition, but then move the goalposts as to what the definition of unfair competition is! Let's look at history and see what Microsoft did to all the other competition - where are they now? - diminished into insignificance or GONE!!
