  2. I can see it now: Microsoft Skype, amazingly HTML5. Requirements: IE 10. If that's the case, no thanks.

    @guest: If it really is built on the vanilla HTML5 standards, they absolutely will not limit the general functionality of the program to IE10. There's just "too many people" using Chrome and Firefox to simply ignore all ot them and besides, they'll want to compete against webRTC and not being accessible to the browsers that support that would be a huge mistake on microsoft's part.

    Now, I could see them touting "advanced features" for Live users using IE10, which to many people would be almost as infuriating. =p
