I am pretty tech savvy but not a professional by any sense. I am having some bsod issues with my laptop. I am having chkdsk recover files etc. The last chkdsk took more than 5 hours to finish. I want to pinpoint a hdd or ram issue but tools have said they were fine. I am hoping some one can look at this minidump and see if it sheds any light.

Acer 5102wlmi laptop
amd x2
1gb ram
pata hdd
etc.

THANKS!!!!!!!

Probably caused by : ati2cqag.dll

ati2cqag.dll is the driver for "ATI Central Memory Manager"

Possible Solution

Download the latest drivers for your video card from the manufacturers website. Then uninstall all entries for your ATI card in the add/remove programs list. Then download ccleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/download/downloading install Ccleaner and scan and clean your computer, then use the registry cleaner portion of the program to clean your registry.

Restart your computer then install the latest drivers that you downloaded.

Also, Download memtest from http://www.memtest.org/#downiso get the iso version and burn it to a cd. Then restart your computer with the cd in the drive and set your computer to boot from the cd-rom first in the bios. Let the test run for a minimum of 7 passes (Note: There are several tests performed per pass)

After doing the above stated please post back and let us know if the issue has been resolved or not.
