Missing alerts

Hi guys !

I've been noticing a strange issue with regard to alerts from thread I've posted on at some earlier time, i.e. sometimes I don't get any alerts at all, the latest case in point is this thread about home page. Oddly enough, few weeks ago I got alerts about messages from threads where the post in question were posted many weeks ago. Any help, resolution to this issue will be highly appreciated. Archean, can you confirm you are subscribed to the thread in question?

Also, when you have posted and not received any alerts, has it always been on news discussions or all across the board?

It happens all across the board, not regularly but just randomly, like the one thread i posted above. In that thread comment # 9 was posted by me earlier in the day and now there are 41 posts in that thread, but problem is I have not received even a single alert.
