Missing British keyboard layout

    I recently did a fresh XP install using a 'stripped down' version, which is great because it installs in about 10 mins and boots up in the blink of an eye (relatively speaking, of course) It has a lot of unnecessary serviced removed so the whole system is far more responsive.

    The only problem I've had is that the British keyboard layout simply isn't there. And I want it!

    How may one, if it's possible, add a keyboard layout.. I can't seem to find the way..

    Thanks, now!

    I wonder if you could download the drivers for your keyboard (if they exist)
    Or possibly download any british keyboard driver (like MS Wireless keyboard or something)

    Also this version of Windows (Hmm)

    Can you go to Start-->Run-->Services.msc

    And then scroll down to "Remote Registry" and see if you can disable it (by double clicking on it and selecting disable from "Startup type")
    If not, then I wouldn't use it.

    Is it a legal copy?
