Missing file asam0ws0.sys

  1. So I've decided to reformat my computer.

I insert the disk and shut down my computer.

On reboot I F12 and select "To setup Windows now" by pressing Enter

The bar loads about 85% when it stops and says System Error File: asam0ws0.sys
    is missing.

That's the only way I know how to reformat a disk and now that a file is missing, I'm not sure what to do.

If you have any solutions, please advise me on what to do...

I'd say contact Microsoft and get a new disc, not sure what their policy on this kind of thing is though. But there may be some other solution, have a bit of a google ;)
