Missing USB Host to Host Bridge

I am having a problem using one of the usb ports on my computer. My system does not recognize the device, such as my mobile phone. It will connect then once I start to use the program on my computer it will disconnect. I went to the device manager, viewing by device connection, and I have a yellow "?" with the "!" under one of the usb root hubs. It is at the USB Host to Host Bridge. Am I missing something there? Also I have the same thing on the PCI simple communications controller. I have tried to see if there is a download I could get but I am having no luck. Could someone please give me some advice?

You need to reinstall the Chipset, if once installed, or install it for the first time.

I don't have the program disk. Is that what I need?
