Monitor/Display turns to yellow

How could this be? I tried to adjust the monitor's settings (contrast, brightness and color) but it wont work. I tried also checked the port of the video and the cable, tighten it and somehow it works! But sometimes, the monitor/display turns to yellow again..What should i do? PLease help..

If your video card is an addon card plugged into your computer's motherboard it may have become loose inside. (ie you may need to remount the internal video card securely)

If you video card is onboard, ie part of the main internal motherboard. I would suspect that one of the pins, either on the motherboard video connector, or on the monitor, has been pushed in slightly. (not creaing proper contact)

Otherwise it could just be a faulty monitor
 
Yep Kimsland, sounds like hardware.
If CRT - blue gun is going out
IF LCD - Blue Channel is going out

Could be
cold solder joint on blue connector of Video OUT 15pin D-Sub.
broken/loose video cable wire - at either end.

But also be color temp not set correctly- but I doubt it
