i really need help,I just put in my new processor and tried to turn my computer on but it keeps saying "NO SIGNAL,PLEASE CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" I did and then figured it was my video card port.So i switched to my onboard port and it does the same thing.PLZ TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!:(

Brand, model, age, configuration ?
Can we assume you have gone back to remove and reinstall the CPU, or to reinstall the old CPU to see if the system then works?

Do that Raybay ask you to do. Now before putting back the old Processor check if you place it well in the PC. Also does the PC Power on and the fan running normally?

how about trying the monitor on another computer so you're not just wasting your time with CPUs...

if you can verify that the monitor works, install the new processor and clear the CMOS. the model of cpu and mainboard would help us a bit.

It wouldn't be the first time someone tried to install a CPU that wasn't supported by the motherboard even though it fits physically.
