Monitor only works in safe mode

    When I try to start my dell computer it starts up fine, I can see everything on my monitor, then once windows has started, my monitor goes into power saving mode. It will not come out. If I start my computer in safe mode, the monitor works properly. I have checked all connections and they are fine. I have checked my drivers and they are all up to date.

    So what is the computers specs? Laptop or desktop, make and model?
