I have this problem with (maybe) my monitor. I've read a similar post here but this one takes it a bit further.. I also have the problem that, when I play Syberia2, my monitor goes black, the LED is flickering, but however, my PC doesnt hang. I hear the sound and I can even switch to another program with Tab+Alt. Same thing happens when I try to switch my resolution to a lower setting than 1024x786. Seems that my monitor (maybe because of the driver or videocarad?) won't be playing at a lower res anymore... it did when i had another videocard.
Specs: Monitor = Daewoo 719B
3D-card = NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX400
