Monitor randomly shuts off

    I have a 20 inch flat panel HP monitor that just randomly shuts down you can be in the middle of something and in just shuts off and you have to turn it back on. It's not going into sleep mode or anything because you can be moving the cursor and bam just shuts off. There is not set time , sometimes you can be on it for a couple seconds , sometimes an hour.Any ideas?

    Check ALL connections. Make sure they're they are correct & snug.Good luck.

    Thx for the reply , they were . It's just weird I bought a bunch of monitors from a auction and this 1 and another 1 are given me problems :(

    You might try the manufacturers website to look for drivers/problems. Other than that, hmmm
