I have problems running Quake2 under XP.
The game seems to be running fine.... then it'll just hang up
the PC. and I'm forced to reboot.
Sometimes the sound will just stop and the game continues as if
there is nothing wrong (without sound).
It does one of these two things.... never both at the same time.
Hell sometimes you can play for an hour without a hitch, sometimes
it locks up (or the sound goes) after a few minutes.

Everything worked fine under W2K..... damned XP!! ;)

Thanks, yes I have.... it's been out for a while. I think
the issues may relate to my MX300 soundcard... I'll try and
swap it out over the weekend and see if it helps.
I have a spare Live! value laying around.

To find out if a version is localized for your operating system is availble for purchase, please contact your local Activision office."
