    For the coders of Mozilla!
Is there anything that can be done to correct the background image issue
when making web sites in HTML and having the background be fixed
and not scroll. In IE it will stay fixed and not scroll.

I keep receiving updates but nothing to correct this.
The version of windows has nothing to do with this
and is in Mozilla alone. How about fixing this for the webmasters.
I have been seeing this back in win98 and its still doing it with Vista

    Thanks
    Bill

Its very likely that the problem isn't with Firefox, and instead with you coding non standard web pages. IE goes against a lot of internet standards, and tools like Frontpage further propagated the problem.

A good coder will write standards compliant code so it opens properly on many web browsers. Only testing your page to make it work in IE only is poor practice.

Thanks SNGX for your quick reply.
I use and have used Coffee cup HTML editor for years and its a top quality editor.
If you don't mind would you visit this site I'm working on right now and view
the source code and see if you can tell me what do to correct it. And I do test
with both Mozilla (My default)and IE because people surfing the web use both.
Oh the site I use is my test site and not the address that's going to be used
    when finished.

    PS
If you don't mind could you test it for me with Mozilla and IE and give me a report
    Please.

Thanks kimsland and I agree with you but hate to think you
think I'm in that class. And all I know I can say is I will just place
a notice on the top of the pages that says BEST VIEWED IN IE

    I'm sorry I asked

Thanks for yours and SNGX1275 time

You have to understand that not everyone uses Mozilla unless you can have
Bill Gates put Mozilla in place of Internet Explorer and we both know that will
never happen. I like Mozilla but CHIT happens I guess.
