Mozilla: No Firefox browser for the iPhone

    Damn you Mozilla! i have to keep this iPhone for another 18 months! Please make your browser for it! Safari sucks and Opera isn't great either.

  4. I can see why they would not want to go through Apple's restrictions. They would make it very hard to maintain the openness of the browser.

    But here's an idea: They are already doing part of the job for Facebook, Twitter etc. support. So a lot of the porting is already done. How about doing a FULL browser for JAILBROKEN Iphones only? Surely there are enough of them out there to justify the extra effort???
  5. What nonsense is this? Mozilla--nor any other company--wouldn't, and shouldn't, support jailbroken phones. They WILL get in trouble with Apple.
    That said, I applaud Mozilla for considering Symbian and dumping iCrap, which no other software maker does.
