Mp3 Player "Error! Reformat Media"

Can anyone diagnose my Mercurry Mp3 Player iXA-321i

Computer do not recognize, when turn on it displayed "Error! Reformat Media"

I done alot of google but to no help, plz...

I found the article LINK saying:

Why we wil see "Error, reformat Media" on the screen when we turn on player?

Because you use FAT32 or NTFS to format your player under Window200 or higher, did not use FAT or FAT16, you must use FAT or FAT16 to reformat your player, then repair the problem.

The problem is I don't understand what it asking me to do... I had installed win98 but don't know how to format it in FAT or FAT16, I am so lost can anyone point me a direction...
