MPC-HC how to play videos

Ok & fine. I have no problems playing videos using VLC so I'll just use MPC-HC for other videos, thank you.

If you follow what I suggested, you can now use mpc 1.7.7 64bit to play sequentially video files in a folder.
reply #26 right screenshot shows mpc 1.7.7 64bit (installed on my windows 8.1 pro) which is the same version installed in your windows 7 (shown on the left for comparison).

I'VE GOT mpc-hc & HAVE been trying to figure a way to play numerous flv videos sequentially & random. Nothing has worked so far. Any ideas or is it even possible?
With VLC I can do such but hate the NON full screen . MPC-HC has FULL screen. TIA :)

Please Find and Download MPC-HC Ver 1.7.6 (ebc29cf) and don't update player,Click VIEW Tab on left @end Click <Miscellaneous>Uncheck Box for -Enable automatic update check- . . . . . . Click <Formats> Under the Association Click <Modify> will open a new popup, In File Extensions Check the Check Box for each file format that you want to play, don't forget to click Apply after each change.
You will be able to configure Autoplay next video within the folder through PLAY Tab.
Even you can open multiple video file, Click VIEW Tab > Option > Player > Open Option and click Radio button - Open a new player for each media file played-

By the time I found your reply, I've already updated to the latest MPC player.

Sequential: IF you have 3 Seasons of a show for example, even in their individual folders by season. If you drag them all to the player. They would then play from Season 1 Episode 1 onwards.

Random: Drag all folders / files (easier if all Season folders I.e Mash.Season.1 and Mash.Season.2 are in folder simply entitled Mash. Then when you drag the Mash folder, you drag all season at once - makes sense ?) Once all folders are dragged Season 1 Ep 1 for example should start playing. Right click on the player (anywhere on the playing video) click on "View" let the sub menu pop up, and select Shuffle (or Ctrl + 7 it says) Now all players will play at random.

Full Screen: To go full screen on any video player or game ( I believe ) the 2 universal ways are: 1) double click on the video player or 2) Alt + Enter.

My MPC-HC comes with CCCP codec pack. I don't used any other packs ever. It was thee, pack you installed if you wanted .mkv files to play back in the day. In the Caves....
