MSI revamps X-Slim X600 with Core 2 Duo, Windows 7

  1. MSI has unveiled an enhanced "Pro" edition of its X-Slim X600 ultrathin notebook. The X-Slim X600 Pro swaps the insipid Core 2 Solo SU 3500 1.4GHz to a more powerful Core 2 Duo processor (the model is unspecified). The Pro unit also drops Vista in favor of Windows 7 Home Premium, and appears to offer an optional (presumably external) DVD or Blu-ray drive.

    Wonder why MSI cannot have the optical drive install into the slim line. Lenovo U550-374955U or Asus UL50VTA already has the machine available in a very competitive price.
