Multiboot - retrieve Win7 option at boot

Can someone help please...

What happened:

There was windows7 and windowsXP installed on my PC (multibooting okay), and recently I installed another XP on the machine for testing (as I thought it can be triple boot). The bootup screen has since only show 2 XP choices and taken out the Win7.

I then removed the new XP from boot.ini and reboot, now the PC go straight to the old WinXP without giving me any options at bootup (I thought the PC might auto-detect the existence of Win7).

My question:

1. any way to do triple boot (for future reference)

2. how can I retrieve the Win7 bootup option?

The reason you lost the 7 boot option (and posssibly the bootloader) is because you installled XP after 7. You have to install the previous Windows versions first, then newer, and newer, and so forth.
