Multimedia Audio Controller help

Hi,

I know this question has probably been asked a million times, but I could never find the right answer that helps me solve my problem. In my device manager -other devices - multimedia audio controller has an exclamation mark. I've downloaded the cpu -z program.

Version-Asus A7Pro
My computer is a windows 2000, i had xp but there was a problem so i had to install 2000.

I'm also having problems with the sound,videos and game controller.

The audio driver you are using is not for Windows 2000.

Of do a Google Search: ASUS A7 PRO Windows 2000 Drivers

Or upgrade to WXP

You can use Belarc Advisor www.belarc.com or EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 from www.majorgeeks.com and there are others which will detect your hardware. Then you can punch the named audio device into a Google search with "Windows 2000 drivers.

There are many paid services, but you should still be able to find free even though Windows 2000 is no longer supported anywhere. www.DriverGuide.com has it, but it takes more trial and error for their stuff.
