multimedia audio problems!!!

  1. hey all
    i recently formatted my comp and am now running xp pro!!!
    ever since i have had no sound. my multimedia audio controller has no driver!!
    i went to my motherbords site which is Asus and downloaded the driver but it didnt give me a setup file!!! i am greatly in need of some help!! my motherboard is an asus P4S533-MX and has an on board sound card! i think

    its probably an .ini file .. go to device manager > multimedia device that needs the driver > update > from folder> select the folder where you saved the .ini & config files > continue>>

    I'm glad ur problem is fixed. Please keep in mind to avoid making multiple threads in the future. It's pretty annoying and is unhelpful to you. Could a mod please delete the other thread floating around in here somewhere?(I wear I could've just seen it a minute back)
