Leonard Cohen Hey, anyone ever tried Cohen? He is the poet of music. He can bring the right emotion to the right tune.
on Leonard Cohen Don't think anyone could bridge the rift in Rihanna to Chris Brown tune that @julien8866 posted He has quite a following here Downunder akin to a "Frank Sintra \ Neil Diamond mash-up"
I'm an alternative-rock, hard-rock and heavy-metal music lover, I also like rock, blues, some jazz, classical, flamenco, and so on. My all-time favourite band is Pink Floyd, I was born and I will die listening to it. Here's a list of my favourite bands: -Deep Purple (I've seen them twice!) -Led Zeppelin -Black Sabbath (and all Ozzy's material) -AC/DC -Iron Maiden -Creedence Clearwater Revival -Radiohead -Queen As I am from Argentina, these are some spanish-languaje bands/artists I love: -Everything related to Carlos Alberto "Charly" GarcĂa (Rock, blues, and many others) -Everything related to Luis Alberto Spinetta (Rock, blues, jazz, and many) -Everything related to Norberto "Pappo" Napolitano (Heavy metal, hard-rock, blues, jazz, rock, others) -R.I.P- -Divididos (rock, hard-rock, folk-rock, blues, etcetera) -Almafuerte (Heavy metal, hard rock, argentinian folklore, tango - I strongly recommend this band for those metal lovers and guitar players) -Patricio Rey y sus redonditos de ricota (rock, blues) -La renga (rock, hard-rock, some blues) And lots of other bands I dont mention. I love playin guitar, so it's not a surprise that I'm into music with great guitar players. But, I just like guitar players playing in bands, I don't like solo players, like Satriani, Vai, and so on; except for "Paco de Lucia", he's probably the best guitar player on earth. Well, goodbye!
i mostly prefer ROCK!! All rock.... System of a down... Bullet for my Valentine... Slipknot Mostly anything that has a guittar and a lack of racial slurs and constant references to "Slums" and the dealing of drugs. That is, I dislike rap, besides Emineim whos lyrics are sometimes funny..... ^_^
What about Yamaha baby grand being played by Alicia Keys (also singing chorus) with a rapper 'Jay Z' passing out the main Vocals (not quite like 'the foreman' Sinatra who does get a reference in the lyrics) YouTube link?
Queen, Def leopard, Black sabbath, The who, Eagles, Bad company, and pretty much any other track with decent guitar. Queen are by far my most loved though .
