My Acer Aspire 5520 won't start

    my acer aspire 5520-5908 wont start up. when I press the power button on, it attempts switching on the fan and the fan goes off again with the screen not starting too.and all it does after is the power button light and signals blinking intermittently. I ve removed the battery, plug it directly so forth on and on but nothing seems to work. just blinking of lights.

    I agree I think a faulty motherboard I had this problem on a recent laptop I had so I decided to sell it on ebay as spares or repair as 2nd hand motherboard was £80
