My computer does not start

I'm attempting to start an old computer,because i believe i can find some missing photos in there.Problem is it won't start.When i plug it in i can see a green ligth at the back of the machine,i guess tha tell me that it has power,but,as soon i press the start button in front the green ligth goes off and nothing happen.No start at all no fans nothing.Please anyone can help?

The green light only means you have some power but not necessarily enough. Do you have access to another PSU (power supply) to test with?

You can try to remove the hard drive and install it into an external enclosure and try to recover your files and photos that way.

Thankyou for your suggestion,i think i will do just that.Get the hard drive out,the machine is not worthy any way.
