My Computer:
Dell Dimension 5150
Windows XP
Media Centre Edition
Service Pack 2
When i start my computer it gives a problem "A disk read error occured press Ctrl+Alt+del to restart " and after i press Ctrl+Alt+del it comes back to this screen over and over again.
It first started when it seemed i caught a minor virus one day before (due to no updated virus protection). I decided to do restore my hard drive (ctrl-F11) since I had done this recently due to a major virus weeks earlier...so considering I had nothing much to lose I thought this as being the best option. Anyway this didnt work and still doesnt.
I dont believe I recieved a recovery CD from Dell as this is built inside the computers with the system recovery- that no longer works!
Any ideas are much appreciated.
