    this is my first build. i had i $500 budget so this is what i got. please give feedback.


    mobo: ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970
    cpu: AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)
    ram: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (2 x 4GB)
    gpu: SAPPHIRE 100326DDR3L Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3
    psu: Cm RS500-PCARD3-US 500W RT
    case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition VL80001W2Z

    It looks okay, but did you leave room to buy an os, keyboard, monitor?

    Where is your HDD?

    If you have a $500 dollar budget I bet there are some people who would put something together for you.

    ya i bought a keyboard too and one of my friends said i could use his windows 7 til i get one of my own. i already had a hard drive and monitor.

    Make sure your old HDD is SATA and not IDE. Your new MoBo does not support IDE devices ie. HDD, DVD-R, etc...
