My flashdrive wont work on my computer but works on others

Why would this be, its a brand new flash drive, im trying to back up my iTunes library on my eMac but my flashdrive wont work on this computer but when I plugged in the same flash drive into a different computer, this time a pc it works fine; is there anyway I can fix this problem and what is the cause of this problem?

Yep - - Mac != PC file systems; Mac is AFS and PC is NTFS.
What specific version are you using

• Mac OS X = ???
• Win Version = ??

I think I read a flash drive has to be formatted FAT 32 or MS-DOS (FAT) volume format to work on a MAC

FAT32 is the UNIVERSAL Filesystem, including Mac & Linux
