My Internet keeps cutting off

I would use my internet for 30 minutes or so maybe the whole day but at one point everything that uses the internet would just cut off until i restart my computer then its back

Is this a laptop or a desktop?
What version of windows are you running?(XP, Vista, 7)
what kind of connection are you using? (Wireless, wired)
Does this happen on any other devices on your network, or JUST your machine?

and no just the labtops for my sister she has a mac and it just doesnt work for a little but goes back to normall mines it just doesnt let me use the internet till i restart my labtop

What about if you wire it? Plug it in with an Ethernet Cord does it still drop? Or does it let you on when you plug it in? Or still nothing.
