My keyboard jumps letters

  1. I recently reinstalled Vista on my laptop and every now and then when I type my keyboard will skips letters as I type or the blinking cursor will suddenly jump to an area in the sentence previously and continue on. I'm not touching the mouse pad to move the cursor, only typing.

My keys are not sticky or show any signs of wear and tear (the laptop is under 6 months old).

This just all started after I re-installed windows and installed all the updated drivers.

    Thanks!

    Not keyboard, it's mouse
    Mouse pad sensitivity that is

Confirm the mouse drivers are install correctly (mouse drivers available from your Laptops support page)
And then go into the program supplied by these drivers (or even Control Panel-Mouse) and turn down the sensitivity
