My laptop won't turn on

hi guys please help!! i have a gateway LT2115u and wont turn on, i only see a blue light when i press the power button, have tried taking the battery off unplugging the power cord and pressing the power button for 40 sec and putting everything back pressed the power button again, but noting works does any body know a sulution for this problem?

if there is no bios start-up then it could be that a hardware device is causing it to hang. You should remove all external devices or It could be that the hard drive is causing problems so you could try and remove it and see if the bios starts up.
