My new computer hangs!

    i got the new computer 5 days back...config is

    i3
    4gb ddr3
    1gb nvidia geforce graphics...

    my computer hangs while scrolling a big page in ms word document ...like this my computer hangs for 5 sec here and there ....and jus like that hanging in bitcomet etc etc


    pls help me...i am very upset with my new system :(

    If you can't solve the problem in a reasonable amount of time, take it back and have it fixed under warranty (free!). That said, to me it sounds like the Nvidia graphics driver is not installed. If that is the case, you should make sure all of the other drivers have been installed as well.

    hello,
    did it start doing that the minute you got it or after couple week's , one of the cause's might be a Spyware , download and run Malwarebyte's and run a scan in safemode and hopefully that will fix your problem if not , let me know and we ll go from there .

    You can try an Office repair if it is 2007 go to control panel and click on change and then repair.
