my notebook hasn't sound while playing dvds

    I have an acer travelmate-4001lci notebook and it plays dvds good until one day I tried to play a dvd and i saw it don't has sound I tried other dvds & dvd players but it still don't has sound, I also installed the new audio drivers but nothig changed.
